Ted Hanulak Sensei
The head of the Senso-Ryu and chief instructor at the Sensokan Honbu Dojo for the last 30 years is Ted Hanulak Sensei. Hanulak Sensei began his studies in 1983 under Richard Behrens Shihan. He trained full time for 9 years in the art of Senso-Ryu. He began teaching in 1992.
Hanulak Sensei is a former City of Sunrise Florida (Ft. lauderdale) police officer who received "Officer Of The Year" 1989 for "Outstanding Heroics and Dedicated Service" which included saving the life of a child. He also was a state licensed private investigator and worked for the United States Dept of Law Enforcement on the Seminole Indian Big Cypress Reservation.
In the late 1990's, Hanulak Sensei ran the security / bouncer programs in various south Florida nightclubs, training the bouncers and personally protecting the establishments and its patrons.
It is Hanulak Sensei's goal to pass on the Art that has saved and served his life for decades.

Dominic Martin Senpai
A student of Hanulak Sensei's for 18 years. Martin Senpai is the head student and intsructor at the Sensokan Dojo Indianapolis.
He is an Assistant Federal Defender for the State of Indiana and a Gulf War Veteran.
