The Sensokan Dojo "School of War" Indianapolis is a very unique martial arts school by todays standards. In fact it could be said that it is the antithesis of the modern commericalized martial arts school.
There are no children, no multi-colored belts, no tournaments or seminars, no nonsense online video training, and there is no tuition.
We teach the Japanese style of Senso-Ryu "War Style", a Gendai Sogo Bujutsu developed after the Japanese Meiji Restoration of 1868 under the direction of the current leadership of Ted Hanulak Sensei.
The art of Senso-Ryu consits of:

We accept no money, neither from tuition or donation as we are a traditional dojo, not a business.
We accept new students by referral-only from a current student, former student in good standing, or friend of the dojo. You must know someone connected with the dojo that will vouch for you to be considered. A formal request with references must then be submitted by mail at
